SUSTAINABILITY

Sourcing Recycled Materials

The majority of the metals used in our products come from trusted
vendors that employ environmentally responsible processes for recycling metal.
The benefit of using the recycled metal eliminates the need to draw directly
from the earth’s finite supply.

Fabrication Practices

Scrap materials created from fabrication are collected and sorted by metal-type for future recycling.

Packaging

Our gift boxes and mailers are made from recycled material.

ETHICAL

Gemstone mining is a complicated process with a long chain of steps and hand-
offs. Each added step has increased the chance of using child labor or endangering fair trade practices.

Precious stones 

Our precious stones are Kimberly certified and acquired through known and trusted vendors who often have direct relationships with the mines.

Semi-precious

These stones are harder to track the original source. E+M commits to working with small business vendors who often have working knowledge and direct relationships with the mines.

SOCIAL EQUALITY

ACLU 
Because we are ALL human, E+M donates 3% of pre-tax orders to the ACLU.

For purchases of our “human” necklace, we donate 50% to the ACLU. This necklace was created as a reminder that underneath the differences of the world, our core needs as a human are very much the same.

Contributions go to the ACLU’s critical programs that support litigation,
education, and lobbying efforts, helping them to respond immediately when
new threats to our civil liberties arise.
